LEAV Aviation is adding connectivity, entertainment, and retail services in partnership with AirFi. The airline is introducing three key AirFi services: wireless inflight entertainment (W-IFE), low-Earth-orbit (LEO) satellite connectivity, and mobile payments to support crew and facilitate onboard retail.
We’re always looking for ways to enhance our passenger experience, and our partnership with AirFi is a major step in that direction. With new streaming entertainment, onboard connectivity, and a smarter retail system, we’re making flying with LEAV more enjoyable and convenient than ever.
– Daniel Broda, CEO of LEAV Aviation
AirFi LEO enables passengers to send and receive text messages mid-flight, ensuring they can stay in touch even while airborne. The system uses lightweight, window-mounted antennas, which reduce drag on the aircraft and keep fuel efficiency in check while delivering reliable connectivity.

Passengers will also be able to stream a variety of entertainment options directly to their personal devices, from movies and TV shows to music, games, and an interactive moving map. The system supports multiple languages, making it accessible to LEAV’s diverse customer base. Digital newspapers, magazines, and airline-specific content will also be available.
Finally, LEAV is implementing a new, digital shopping experience on board, including AirFi’s mobile payment solution. This provides flight attendants with a fully integrated point-of-sale system. And by linking to the LEO service LEAV will have access to secure, real-time payment validation.
LEAV’s fleet includes a pair of A320s, operating a mix of charter and scheduled flights to destinations across the Greek islands, the Balearics, and Scandinavia.
