After 14 years at the helm, Job Heimerikx is stepping down as CEO of AirFi. Laura Rösges has assumed the role, launching a new era of growth and innovation for the wireless entertainment, connectivity, and inflight retail company.
The role swap officially took place on 1 April 2025, as part a structured integration and transition process. The pair will continue that effort next week at Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg where Rösges will represent the company on the industry’s largest stage.

Rösges brings significant experience in retail and catering to the business. Prior to joining AirFi, she served as Director of Global Onboard Retail Sales and then Chief Commercial Officer at Retail inMotion, where she led key initiatives in inflight retail services.
“Having worked with Job and AirFi as a partner in my previous roles over the last three years, I’m delighted to now join the talented team and steer AirFi into its next chapter of growth,” says Rösges.
While Heimerikx is stepping away from day-to-day operations, he will remain involved with the AirFi leadership team. His continued presence on AirFi’s supervisory board ensures that his vision for the company’s future remains intact.
“Laura’s appointment marks an important milestone for AirFi and the company’s ambitious plans,” added Heimerikx. “Now is the time for fresh leadership to propel the company toward even greater success.”

AirFi’s overall structure and operations will remain unchanged. Rösges will oversee the management team’s continued efforts to drive the company’s growth and industry leadership.
