Aeromexico is extending inflight connectivity to its Embraer E190 jets. The carrier contracted with Viasat for the service, joining the carrier’s 787 fleet and some 737 MAX planes with the Ka-band satellite connectivity on board.
We are upgrading our Aeromexico Connect E190 fleet to deliver exceptional in-flight experiences on our short-haul routes.

Aeromexico will continue to offer complimentary messaging to all passengers on board, backed by the Viasat Ads platform. The carrier notes it is the only airline in Latin America to offer free messaging for passengers across its network. Travelers can also buy up to a full connection, including support for streaming content to their personal device.
The deal calls for all 34 E190s in the fleet to be fitted by 2027. Six carry the kit so far.
