Saudi Arabia’s flynas recommitted to bringing inflight connectivity to its fleet. The deal will see the fleet fitted with the SkyFive air-to-ground service, which is now active across Saudi Arabia.
flynas initially signed an MoU for the services in March 2024, with an expectation of service installation and activation by the end of that year. That target date has come and gone, but the carrier’s commitment to the SkyFive service remains.
The deal was announced at the 2025 Dubai Air Show in a signing ceremony with Alsalam Aerospace Industries, a subsidiary of SAMI, the Saudi defense industry funded by the Kingdom. It also includes mention of 120 aircraft “for other operators.”
