Gogo‘s AVANCE business aviation platform received an entertainment boost this week with the launch of the Gogo Vision 360 platform. The upgraded in-flight entertainment offering is available as a free upgrade for existing Gogo Vision customers with a Gogo AVANCE L5, L3 or SCS system installed on their aircraft. Activation will occur automatically over the air with no downtime required.
Passengers want to be productive during their flights, but they also need downtime. The addition of a new 3D moving map will provide a new interactive experience for passengers that we’re excited to offer. Vision 360 is an important next step in our commitment to deliver the best inflight connectivity and entertainment experience to business aviation.
– Sergio Aguirre, Gogo’s president
One of the biggest changes with the launch of Gogo Vision 360 is the incorporation of the FlightPath3d moving map in either a base or premium configuration, depending on the subscription tier. FlightPath3D President Duncan Jackson notes that “As a leading provider of reliable inflight connectivity and entertainment, they deserve the most interactive, innovative and irresistible map.” And the FlightPath3D solution delivers that, including what Jackson describes as “a stunning inflight entertainment and information experience with real time flight data, augmented reality and personalized geo-spatial content.”
Beyond the new map Gogo Vision 360 also offers:
- Unlimited viewing of more than 150 of the latest Hollywood movie releases and popular TV shows, including popular Disney movies and TV programming.
- 30 digital magazine titles from well-known titles including Golf Digest, Forbes, Wine Spectator, Newsweek, Wired, People, and Town & Country. Customers onboard will get the most current issue as well as the previous issue for each publication.
- A wide array of current news topics from Bloomberg News covering global business, investing, technology, automotive, energy and top business and finance stories from Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the United States.

Gogo Vision 360 is configurable for Arabic, English, French, German, Italian, Russian, and Spanish. Audio tracks for movies and TV episodes are offered in English, French, German, Italian, Russian, Spanish, and Swedish.
The new Gogo Vision offering is split into three tiers, all at fixed price levels.
The basic Gogo Vision Standard comes at no additional charge on all AVANCE systems, including a base version of the FlightPath3D map, news clips and destination weather information. Gogo Vision+ adds news clips and eMagazines, plus upgrades the FlightPath3D maps to a premium version for $500/month. And the top-end Gogo Vision 360 adds movies, TV and language options for $849/month.
More than 1,500 business aircraft are currently flying with the Gogo AVANCE L5 or L3 systems installed.
