Passengers on Royal Jordanian‘s short haul fleet now have an inflight entertainment option available. The carrier added the “Sky Connect” streaming IFE option to ten aircraft building on the Bluebox Wow platform. The service launched this week across the carrier’s fleet of four A319 and six A320 aircraft.
We’re continually enhancing our passenger services across all touch points – and Bluebox Wow enables us to do that by delivering wireless IFE to passengers’ own devices. It is both a cost-effective and quick way of modernising the IFE on part of our medium- and short- haul fleet, and with Bluebox’s commitment to continually invest in new capabilities, we know that as the technology advances, so will our ability to deliver even more for our passengers. – Royal Jordanian President & CEO Stefan Pichler

Passengers have access to movies and TV shows for free, streamed to their personal devices. The Sky Connect system also includes music, games and airline information for the travelers.
We are delighted that Royal Jordanian has chosen Bluebox Wow. Both the technological innovation and the deployment model of Bluebox Wow make Royal Jordanian and its fleet of A319s and A320s a natural fit for Bluebox Wow – a solution that engages passengers with a variety of IFE content and offers airlines a flexible solution to the upgrade/retrofit question. – Kevin Clark, CEO, Bluebox
The portable, wireless content solution from Bluebox was also recently selected by Canadian carrier Air Transat for many of its short-haul aircraft and by Japan’s ANA for its Q400 turboprop fleet.
