JetBlue’s revised “EvenMore” offering will include free drinks, among other benefits on board. The carrier briefed flight attendants on the new offering this week, revealing some details about the program.
More space is the primary benefit, and has been since the program launched as Even More Legroom in 2007. That transitioned to Even More Space circa 2011, with pre-boarding added to ensure access to overhead bin space. The new Even More program will included dedicated overhead bin space for passengers.
The Even More product will also include dedicated crew. With four crewmembers typically on a JetBlue plane, and a dedicated first class cabin also coming to the JetBlue fleet from 2026, perhaps that will be one FA up front, one for Even More, and two for the Core offering. On the A220s perhaps the ratio would be 1/1/1.
On the catering front passengers in Even More will have an “exclusive” snack offering. They will also receive up to three free alcoholic drinks per flight.
Finally, the cabin will be slightly adjusted in layout, likely tied to the first class cabin introduction. As part of this shift some exit row seating will transition to “preferred” from the Even More program. It is unclear if this means a reduction in Even More seats or just a rearranging of their layout in the cabin.
As part of the EvenMore revamp JetBlue indicated its plans to begin selling the seats directly on the search results page rather than waiting for the seat assignment page. That effort went live in mid-November. It replaces the “Blue Extra” column on the branded fare, a product the carrier has long struggled to capitalize on. Blue Extra generally lacking compelling extra features to match the increased price it demanded. The new EvenMore offering aims to change that, though it is unclear that a few free drinks and a special snack will drive much demand.
An inquiry to JetBlue for additional details remains pending at time of publication.
