Faster wifi flying on Singapore 777s

Singapore Airlines 777 fleet is finally receiving some of the promised new inflight wifi systems. The first to carry Inmarsat’s GX hardware was spotted this week in Los Angeles after completing its retrofit a couple weeks ago.

On Rumors of a United 777-300ER Purchase

Might United Airlines be announcing an order for 10 new Boeing 777-300ERs in the near future? Seems quite likely. And it makes a lot of sense in many ways, assuming it can get dispatch reliability back up where it should be.
