Hans Airways will offer streaming entertainment to passengers when it launches service between the UK and India. The carrier announced a deal with Moment to deliver the Flymingo wireless streaming solution on the carrier’s A330-200 aircraft.
Flymingo Box technology will enable passengers to access intuitively and immediately a range of digital services during their journey. We will also promote our loyalty program, FlyHAPEEI, on the passenger portal.

The portable wireless IFE Flymingo solution will offer Hans Airways’ passengers access to a range of premium content, including films, TV shows, infotainment, and games. The content will be consumed from passengers’ own devices.
The standalone Flymingo hardware creates its own wireless network on board, without other connectivity off the aircraft. This distinction is notable in that the the aircraft (MSN 950) previously operated with the Panasonic Avionics satellite WiFi solution active while flying for Air Europa. Images of the aircraft still show the radome atop the fuselage.
“We are excited to contribute to the creation of the passenger experience aboard Hans Airways’ aircraft,” said Dieudonné Kamaté, Business Development Director at Moment. “Flymingo Box is a cost-effective solution which adapts perfectly to all airlines, regardless of fleet size, and which easily brings digital services on board. As a leading inflight entertainment solution, we are sensitive to our customers’ needs, striving to help them build an unforgettable and differentiating experience with unmatched performance.”
Hans Airways’ A330-200 seats 274 passengers in economy class (31″ pitch) and 24 in premium economy (56″ pitch). The carrier hopes to receive its operating certificate from UK authorities later this year, at which point it will launch operations with point-to-point service between secondary cities in the UK and India. It also has aspirations to expand service into North America.
The carrier also plans to launch a unique loyalty program, FlyHAPEEI (Hans Airways Passengers Environment Education Initiative). It will reward passengers with all the regular benefits of a frequent flyer program and with a strong emphasis on corporate social responsibility, create opportunities to donate to children’s educational charities in India or conservation and water preservation projects.
