Royal Brunei Airlines announced its inflight internet service partnership with SES (Intelsat at the time) earlier this summer. Now the carrier has a timeline to turn the service on.
From 18 November the first retrofit A320neo will activate the RB SkyConnect service on board, launching the new generation of inflight experience.
The first installation was performed by Royal Brunei’s in-house engineering team, supported by SES. The remaining six aircraft in the single-aisle fleet will be updated about one per month, with a target completion date of May 2026.
Also of note: This is not the first Brunei aircraft to have the Gilat Sidewinder terminal installed. A Royal 747-8i also flies with the terminal on board.

If it is good enough for the Sultan then it must be good enough for passengers, right?
