Breeze Airways is boosting options for both individuals and business travelers to book flights with the carrier via third parties. The company announced a pair of NDC-based deals, allowing for much broader distribution of its flights, as well as a new product bundle for business travelers.
Boosting business travel
For business travelers, Breeze partnered with AmTrav to bring its product to market. That includes a new BreezeCorp fare bundle available only via the third-party channel.
BreezeCorp includes full refundability, a carry-on bag, and a standard seat assignment. Notably absent from the offering, however, is complimentary WiFi service on board. While that aligns with Breeze’s Nice bundle for passengers, it is a small drawback for many business travelers (although even the paid rate of $8 is reasonable).

It also leaves open the potential for additional business-focused bundles, adding internet service along with upgraded seats, for example.
Until the new bundles arrive, ancillary services such as Ascent seating or inflight Wi-Fi can be purchased through the AmTrav booking flow thanks to the NDC-based distribution mechanism.
Expanding individual options
Separately, Breeze also inked a deal to offer its flights through all of the Expedia Group booking channels. The carrier’s full complement of routes is available to users of the OTA platform.
By partnering with Breeze, we’re expanding our flight options to include more direct service in underserved U.S. markets. This means travelers can discover new destinations and enjoy greater flexibility when booking their trips on Expedia Group brands.
– Susan Spinney, SVP, Trips Partnerships at Expedia Group.
Unfortunately for travelers (and for the companies), the Expedia implementation does not appear to yet include anything beyond the “Nice” fare bundle on the search results page. Nor does it show results if limiting the search to premium cabins, despite Breeze offering both extra legroom and “Ascent” seating on board.

It does, however, offer it as an upsell after clicking through (albeit with an error, as the “Nicer” bundle does not include seating in the first class section of the plane).

Overall, the expanded distribution is good news for both Breeze and customers. Moreover, these deals lay the groundwork for expanding options with other sales channels as well.
