Interior refresh coming for Delta’s 737-800s

Photos have emerged revealing the next round of Delta’s 737-800 interior upgrades is underway. Approximately 40 aircraft are expected to see the refresh over the next two years, with new seats and updated in-flight entertainment coming on board.

Delta brings DIRECTV to 767-400s

Air4All, Delta Flight Products team for wheelchair seating on board

Air4All and Delta Flight Products (DFP) have cooperated to develop a prototype seat that allows powered wheelchair to remain in their own wheelchairs for the entire journey. Much work remains before it might take flight, but this is the most significant progress in accessibility travel in decades.

Delta confirms 737 MAX 10 order

Bluetooth pairing coming to Delta’s long-haul fleet

Delta's newest A321neo fleet offers a peek into the future of IFE for many other planes in the fleet

With the launch of its A321neo fleet late last month Delta Air Lines activated one of the most frequently requested passenger features on board: Bluetooth headphones pairing. That successful “soft launch” will soon extend to other aircraft fitted with the in-flight entertainment kit developed by its Delta Flight Products (DFP) subsidiary, including the A330neo and 767-400s.

Turkish Airlines completes first Global Eagle IFC installation

Global Eagle is ending the year on a high note, at least in one market. Just over a year after announcing a deal to install Ku-band satellite connectivity services on a large portion of the Turkish Airlines single-aisle fleet the company confirmed on Monday that the first of those aircraft is now equipped with its Ku-band satellite connectivity solution.
