Caribbean key in 15-route expansion for Frontier

Add another 7 Caribbean island routes to the Frontier Airlines route map. The latest expansion is part of a 15-route growth spurt and includes a new island destination – Aruba – as part of the plans.

Frontier continues Caribbean expansion, adds four new destinations

Put another four Caribbean dots on the Frontier Airlines route map. After promising last month that more sun and surf destinations are coming the carrier delivered, boosting its plans for the upcoming winter.

Frontier’s newest Caribbean destination is a big deal for St Maarten’s tourism recovery. But for the airline it is just another stepping stone into a refocused network that the company hopes will further increase yields.

LIAT’s future in further doubt as CARICOM looks to outside airlift

With its regional airline LIAT slated for liquidation the Caribbean is looking to outside resources to help maintain air connectivity among the islands rather than investing further in the failed operation. At least six airlines from the region are keen to back-fill the capacity gap from LIAT’s collapse.

Caribbean Airlines plans new "milk run" routes to connect the islands

Norwegian comes to Canada, eh!

Norwegian Airlines is once again launching its winter service between North America and the Caribbean islands of Guadeloupe and Martinique. And this time around Canada is part of the plans. The airline will launch seasonal service from Montréal to the French Caribbean islands of Guadeloupe and Martinique in late October as it continues to seek seasonal profits in the islands.
