Some travelers on Air Canada’s Rouge fleet should find themselves just a bit more comfortable starting later this year. The carrier announced plans to retrofit cabins and remove a few seats on nine of its A321s, increasing legroom for passengers.

A slimmed down fleet and route network are in play for Air Canada’s Rouge arm as it returns to operations this week.

Air Canada will be the first airline in the Americas to require temperature screening of passengers prior to travel. The carrier will also retire 79 of its oldest planes, clipping the wings of its Rouge LCC arm.
Norwegian comes to Canada, eh!
Norwegian Airlines is once again launching its winter service between North America and the Caribbean islands of Guadeloupe and Martinique. And this time around Canada is part of the plans. The airline will launch seasonal service from Montréal to the French Caribbean islands of Guadeloupe and Martinique in late October as it continues to seek seasonal profits in the islands.
