ThinKom had plenty to celebrate at last week’s Aircraft Interiors Expo 2024 in Hamburg. The company’s ThinAir Ka2517 antenna was selected by AJet for its full fleet and an unnamed airline for 50+ additional planes. A couple HBCplus orders were also announced, extending its wins.

– Bill Milroy, ThinKom CTO
With both the Ka2517 and Ka1717 now established in the market, CTO Bill Milroy is keen to talk about the next generation of antenna solutions being developed by the company. With pressure mounting from ESAs in particular, Milroy sees a trio of technical pathways as key to remaining competitive in the industry.
