No one is willing to spill the beans completely, but it appears ThinKom has secured an airline launch customer for its Ka1717 regional jet inflight internet solution. Speaking at Aircraft Interiors Expo 2023 in Hamburg this week CTO Bill Milroy shared that ThinKom plans to have the hardware certified for installation by the end of the year, as well as a major ramp in production for early 2024.
