Finnair is the latest carrier to reinstate some additional services for travelers. The carrier will reopen a lounge in Helsinki and expand catering on board most flights, though still with limitations and an eye towards the current operating environment.
As passengers return (eventually) to the skies there is good reason to believe they will have different priorities with respect to services and amenities offered on board. One industry supplier is hoping to address those needs with a new version of an amenity kit to be handed out to travelers.
United Airlines introduced a new marketing campaign this week, tied in to the launch of Spider-Man™: Far From Home. The deal includes an updated safety video and Polaris amenity kit for business class passengers. United is also launching an opportunity for its MileagePlus members to bid miles to attend premier parties for the movie around the country in advance of its widespread release on July 2, 2019.
