Finnair selects Stockholm in transatlantic shift

Norse Atlantic won’t launch service across the Atlantic until early next year, but competition is still on the horizon for Stockholm’s transatlantic traffic. Finnair announced plans to launch a trio of new routes this winter connecting the Swedish capital and the United States.

Air France adds new North America routes from Guadeloupe

Aer Lingus delays Manchester-US service launch

New transatlantic routes coming from Manchester, UK on Aer Lingus this summer

The Aer Lingus hub at Manchester, UK is taking a delay. Citing slower than expected reopening of the US-UK travel corridor, Aer Lingus will delay the launch of US routes two months, now planning New York and Orlando flights to begin on 30 September 2020.

JetBlue to London now on sale!

JetBlue is finally ready to cross the Atlantic. After years of planning seats are now on sale for the company’s flights between the US and London, though no official word from the company announcing the plans.The (likely?) inaugural flight departs JFK for London Heathrow on 12 August 2021.

RwandAir plans JFK service launch (again)

Previously tipped for a 2019 launch, RwandAir is once again planning flights to the USA. The carrier filed its application with the US Department of Transportation this week to operate service to New York on its own A330s. It anticipates beginning the operations in December 2021.
