Demand for the Inmarsat EAN inflight connectivity product in the business aviation market is no surprise. And now the company is ready to deliver. The high-speed hybrid connectivity service will be availalbe to the BizAv market starting in January 2019.

AirBaltic commits to CS300 fleet growth

AirBaltic loves its CSeries jets. The Latvian carrier is set to dramatically grow that fleet. Today’s deal with Bombardier, inked just over one year since the first CS300 arrived in Riga, adds at least 30 more of the type to its fleet.

Alaska Airlines teases shift in connectivity business model

As Alaska Airilnes shifts its aircraft to Gogo's 2Ku offering passengers will see increased bandwidth, hopefully driving an increase in the number online. But a change in the way the product is priced could throw a wrench in those plans.

SAS & Viasat connect on short-haul: It just works

Spirit commits to inflight wifi

Inching ever closer to inflight WiFi over India

Inmarsat GX officially live on Qatar Airways

Third-party paid connections drive up take rate, but generally at a discounted price.

It has been flying for a while, but the high speed Inmarsat Global Xpress (GX) service is now officially live on Qatar Airways. Some 130 777 and A350 aircraft will eventually carry the kit. And all passengers still get a free hour of connectivity on board.
