Hawaiian to Boston: New longest domestic flight

Hawaiian Airlnes' A330 (N375HA) inbound to LAX

Hawaiian will soon operate a new longest domestic US flight. The carrier will launch service 5x weekly between Honolulu and Boston starting on 4 April 2019. The 5,095 mile flight is the longest domestic US route, besting the Honolulu-JFK service by just over 100 miles.

Digging in to Norwegian’s A380 mess

Let us assume, for a moment, that airlines are ridiculous but not outright stupid. That might be a stretch, but presumably they go in to any particular course of action with something resembling a plan. Which makes Norwegian’s use of the Hi Fly A380 this week incredibly baffling.

JetBlue’s west coast push: More cities, daytime transcons

The west coast will soon see more JetBlue love. The carrier announced significant route and operational changes today, adding Blue cities and frequencies. The moves follow JetBlue’s launching a codeshare with JetSuiteX for some shorter west coast hops, also announced this week.

Airbus launches A321LR test flight program
