Virgin Orbit selects Panasonic Avionics for inflight connectivity

The Virgin Orbit launch platform Cosmic Girl will fly with Panasonic Avionics' satellite connectivity solution for linking the launcher to controllers on the ground

What does it take to launch rockets into space from an airborne 747? Among other things, a reliable, high-speed internet connection is key to successful missions. And for Virgin Orbit that means adding a satellite connection to Cosmic Girl, the aircraft serving as the base for the LauncherOne system. The company selected Panasonic Avionics to provide the services for its operation.

TSA implementing lower-touch screening protocols

United faces lawsuit over M&A employees pay cut

A class action suit seeks court-ordered enforcement of the terms of United’s agreement with the US government under the Payroll Support Program section of the CARES Act, including reversal of the new policy.
