Breeze banks $200 million to fuel growth
Breeze Airways secured an additional $200 million in funding, providing the carrier with a sizable bankroll to support upcoming expansion. The deal involves new and existing investors and gives the company the most capital for any of this year’s startup carriers.

British Airways extends maintenance on A380 fleet, but…
The British Airways A380 fleet should be in tip-top shape for flying through at least 2027. The carrier signed a contract extension with Lufthansa Technik (LHT) that calls for the planes to be maintained at LHT’s Manila base. But current conditions suggest not all the planes will return to service.

Condor orders A330neo for long-haul fleet refresh
German leisure airline Condor announced an order for 16 A330-900, planning a complete refresh of its long-haul fleet. The carrier will be the launch customer in Germany for the newer generation of the Airbus mid-sized long-haul aircraft. The first aircraft delivery is slated for Autumn 2022, with the full complement in service by mid-2024.

Small city airport grants for big airlines
