Conetic Group builds lounge and IFEC synergies

Coordinating technology, content, branding, and advertising across airports, lounges, and aircraft is a daunting task for airlines. Often the partners they work with specialize in just one of those areas, meaning extra overhead to bring it all together. The newly established Conetic Group hopes to ease that pain, coalescing a trio of market leaders to cross over those boundaries.

Emirates strikes back, fights Heathrow passenger caps

Overwhelmed and understaffed, Heathrow Airport says it cannot guarantee safe and reliable operations without massive cuts to the number of passengers passing through. The airport proposed a cap of 100,000 departing passengers per day for the remainder of the summer to alleviate pressures. Emirates is refusing to cooperate.

United opens newest, largest ever lounge at Newark

United Airlines’ newest lounge opened at Newark, offering a massive expansion of premium space for its passengers. Located in Terminal C3 near gate C123, this club is the largest club in United’s network, at nearly 30,000 square feet and 480 seats.

Clear, others, expected to add TSA PreCheck enrollment later this year

Finnair launches "Business Light" basic premium fare option
