SAS takes delivery of first A321LR

Sure, it is a few months later than expected, but SAS took delivery of its first A321LR aircraft today. It is the first of three LRs the company expects to join the fleet, offering service in transatlantic markets that are too small to support twin-aisle aircraft.

AIX/WTCE 2021 takes a delay

Even as the aviation industry pushes harder and harder for passengers to return to the skies, the companies behind the scenes concede that recovery will be a long, slow path. The latest tell on that front is a decision to delay the Aircraft Interiors Expo and World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo, typically hosted in early April. The new dats are 31 August to 2 September 2021.

The A220 goes corporate with ACJ TwoTwenty business jet

Stelia launches Opera, new business class seat for single-aisle market

JetBlue extends, reduces blocked seats on board

JetBlue extended its block seating policy on flights through 1 December 2020, adding six additional weeks of limited capacity on all flights. But the carrier is also slightly reducing the number of seats blocked.

Singapore Airlines pivots to ground offerings

With the vast majority of its fleet grounded and passenger flow slowed to a trickle Singapore Airlines, like so many others, continues to search for new ways to generate revenues. JetBlue’s first Mint A321neo breaks cover

A new JetBlue tailfin emerged at the Airbus final assembly line in Hamburg/Finkenwerder this week raising questions about possible changes on the aircraft interior. PaxEx.Aero can now confirm this will be the first A321neo with a Mint interior for the carrier. Delivery and entry into service are expected to occur before the end of the year.

Recaro, WizzAir partner for massive seating order

Diehl Aviation secures BFE supplier status at Boeing
