Astronics selected for Southwest’s in-seat power program

USB power outlets are coming to the Southwest Airlines 737 MAX fleet from 2023

Last month Southwest Airlines announced plans to install in-seat power on its 737 MAX fleet. Now we know that Astronics will provide its EMPOWER solution to the carrier.

PlaneSense goes full fleet with Gogo AVANCE L3 connectivity

The PlaneSense PC-12 fleet will be fully equipped with Gogo's AVANCE L3 in-flight connectivity solution within a few weeks.

The PlaneSense Pilatus fleet will soon be fully online. The company will soon complete its installation of the Gogo AVANCE L3 solution across the PC-12 and PC-24 fleet.

OneWeb, GDC Technics partner on new ESA solution

GDC's Tracy Trent and OneWeb's Ben Griffin with a model of the new antenna solution the companies hope to fly as early as next year

OneWeb and GDC Technics signed a Joint Development Agreement to deliver a new in-flight connectivity terminal. The new terminal, based on the electronically steered antenna technology developed by Ball Aerospace, will enable airlines to connect their aircraft, passengers, and crew over OneWeb’s Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite communication network.

Porter Airlines picks Viasat for E195-E2 WiFi

Gogo’s AVANCE L3 now available line-fit on Pilatus PC-24

New Pilatus PC-24 buyers can now choose to have the AVANCE L3 inflight wifi solution from Gogo installed at the factory. The type joins the PC-12 NGX in holding STCs for installation and Pilatus offering as a line-fit solution to customers.
