British Airways brings back on-board food sales

Passengers on some British Airways short-haul flights can, once again, order a snack or drink during the flight, but only through the on-board web portal

It turns out that most travelers do not know what they want as a snack more than 24 hours prior to their travels. British Airways appears to have learned this lesson as the carrier will enable in-flight ordering from its buy-on-board menu for departures from its Heathrow base.

Porter to join the jet era, add Embraer E195-E2 fleet

Intelsat Commercial Aviation launches, retires Gogo name

Singapore Airlines expands in-flight shopping with on-ground fulfillment

Singapore Airlines wants to sell more on board, with fulfillment on the ground. An update to the IFE system on some A350s will support this.

In-flight shopping took a new turn on Singapore Airlines as the carrier unveils an expanded on-board shopping experience. With a range of delivery options, the expanded KrisShop melds the convenience of on-board shopping with inventory only possible through a warehouse on the ground.
