airBaltic adds elite status option to Planies NFTs

Passengers can now buy elite status on airBaltic as part of the company’s efforts to bring NFTs into its loyalty program. Members of the airBaltic Club who acquire 25 of the company’s Planies NFTs will receive the VIP status tier in the program.

Viasat, Inmarsat receive provisional merger approval from UK

Should the Viasat/Inmarsat merger eventually close, the company may need to send a thank you present to the Starlink team at SpaceX. After four months of additional review, the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) issued a provisional approval to the combination, and the upstart LEO operator is cited as a major factor in the determination.

Air Malta taps Bluebox for IFE platform

Air Malta will deploy the Blueview digital entertainment platform on its newest A320neo aircraft. The system from Bluebox Aviation Systems will be configured to offer Air Malta’s passengers an in-flight entertainment experience – entertainment, moving map, games, etc. – and will be deployed on a linefit Airbus Airspace Link installation.

First Breeze plane with Viasat inflight Wi-Fi now flying
