Lufthansa’s Allegris long-haul cabins offer up options for everyone

Is there such a thing as too many choices for passengers? Lufthansa is about to find out. The company formally revealed its “Allegris” long-haul cabin concept on Tuesday, highlighting options for “individuality and exclusivity” on board, and as many as 14 options for passengers.

Air China launches new A350 business class cabin

Porter Air bringing premium economy(ish) to E195-E2 fleet

Porter Air will add an almost premium economy offering, dubbed PorterReserve, as part of its E195-E2 product launch. The offering will be one of three seating options on board the carrier’s first jets, and include other benefits in the terminal and on board as well.

Stelia Rendez-Vous brings new flat-bed option to business class

Airlines have another flat-bed option to choose from, as Stelia Aerospace launches the RENDEZ-VOUS® business class seat to the market. The company calls it one of the widest beds on offer, and it includes an option for the center pair of seats to function as a double bed on board.

American launches Flagship Suites, retires Flagship First

The new American Airlines Flagship Suite on the 787-9 offers a fully flat bed, sliding door for privacy, and a single piece tray table, among other amenities.

Flagship First Class is dead. Long live the Flagship Suite. American Airlines will introduce a new Flagship Suite seat to its long haul fleet from 2024. With that move, the carrier’s Flagship First class cabin will be no more.

JetBlue shifts some Boston-London flights to A321neo

Three weeks ago JetBlue confirmed that some of its flights between New York City and London would be operated on the A321neo owing to delays in delivery of new A321LR aircraft. Those troubles continue to grow, with the Boston-London routes now impacted.

More meal options are slowly coming back on Delta Air Lines. Progress is slow, as the carrier works to ensure supply chain stability and downline kitchen availability. But Premium Select and Main Cabin passengers should start to see some improvements as soon as next week.
