American snags slots for JFK-Haneda service

American Airlines secured the necessary authorities to launch service between New York City and Tokyo, beating out United Airlines. Ultimately, the US Department of Transportation favored American’s offering as an incremental add of service rather than a shift of existing capacity.

Connect Airlines grounded as Waltzing Matilda Certificate Authorities revoked

Connect Airlines aims to bring its Q400 fleet to Toronto's Billy Bishop Airport and beyond.

After more than two and a half years of working towards certification, Connect Airlines is back to square one. The carrier’s Certificate Authorities for interstate and foreign scheduled passenger services have been revoked by the Department of Transportation for dormancy.
