British Airways employees got to play Star Trek characters to help draw attention to the new inflight content partnership

British Airways will offer content from streaming video provider Paramount+ on board its long-haul fleet. The partnership offers passengers access to an increased range of entertainment content, but stops a step short of bringing true streaming to all passengers on board.

Star Alliance, HSBC launch an Australian credit card

The new Star Alliance credit card, first teased in May of this year, is now live in Australia. Launched in partnership with HSBC, the first of its kind co-brand credit card allows members to earn Star Alliance Points and elite status with seven partner airline loyalty programs.

Alaska Airlines adds loyalty to flight pass subscription pitch

The new Alaska Airlines Flight Pass map now includes Salt Lake City

Alaska Airlines is adding a touch of loyalty to its flight subscription program. In addition to adding Salt Lake City as an eligible market, the carrier will now give some subscribers MVP or MVP Plus status for enrolling in the program.

Virgin Atlantic to join SkyTeam

Rapid Rewards targets elites with A-List bonus activity

Call it another sign that travel habits shifted over the past couple years. Southwest Airlines has run, in quick succession, a pair of promotions seeking to boost its Rapid Rewards loyalty program with elite status for 2023 now easier to come by.
