flydubai spreads its wings with 787 order

Flydubai is ready to grow in a new direction. The carrier will add wide-body aircraft to its fleet for the first time, with an order for 30 787-9 Dreamliners announced at the 2023 Dubai Air Show.

Emirates boosts long-haul fleet with mega order

Emirates will add 95 more Boeing wide-body aircraft to its fleet over the next decade, further extending its opportunity to either refresh and replace older aircraft, or to grow its fleet. The order was announced Monday on the opening day of the 2023 Dubai Air Show.

TSA tweaks banned items list

Some knives without blades are no longer permitted on planes. That is one of the key updates to the TSA’s prohibited items list, published today. The updates also now account for air-powered firearms, creating standards which allow them to be carried as checked luggage.
