CommuteAir plans E175 fleet
CommuteAir is looking to size up its operations. The carrier, currently the exclusive E145 operator for United Airlines’ regional services, now wants to add the E175 family to its fleet.

Regional jets, for the most part, do not offer satellite-based internet services on board. The hardware is typically considered too large for the fuselage, and too heavy for the smaller planes. But it is not impossible. And another carrier now seems to be trying it out.

JetBlue boosts A220 order book, E190 retirements
JetBlue upped its order book on the A220 to 100 frames, converting 30 options from its existing portfolio. Under the expanded order book the carrier will now take delivery of 92 new A220-300s through the end of 2026.
Porter Airlines picks Viasat for E195-E2 WiFi
As Porter Air adds jets to the fleet the on-board experience will see an upgrade as well. The carrier announced the new E195-E2 fleet will include in-flight internet service from Viasat on board.
